Hi friends! I am sure you noticed me blowing up Instagram last week with photos from my stay on 30A! I couldn’t help it– everything was so beautiful! I have heard a lot of people talk about 30A (which is located in Northwest Florida), however, I was a little bit skeptical. Is it really as amazing and beautiful as people rave about?
Oh my gosh guys… I get it. 30A is made up of tiny picturesque beach towns, and all of them are SO charming. Whats even more impressive are the beautiful beaches with white sand and crystal clear water. I was truly impressed and never wanted to leave!
From all the comments, texts, and messages I received while on my trip- it sounds like many of you might be planning a trip to that area, or have heard abut it before! Get ready– because I have a lot of recommendations coming your way! The first weekend of my stay on 30A was with some of my favorite blogger babes for a fun blogger vacay (look up our trip hashtag #30ABloggerVacay for all the fun) thanks to Live Well 30A. Now… let me give you a breakdown of our weekend + what we did + of course what I wore!
On Thursday we all arrived at our beach house thanks to Rent 30, someone from Live Well 30A even picked us up from the airport and drove us there, which was so nice! When we got to the beach house it was fully stocked with snacks, drinks, and of course wine… literally everything we needed! As everyone was arriving at different times we hung out, had some drinks and got ready for dinner!
Our dinner spot for the night was at The Hub 30A which was the cutest little outdoor area with tons of casual restaurants and a common area with a big lawn with a big projection screen, lawn games, fire pits, and chairs; there was even live music! We all grabbed some margaritas, bbq, and Mexican food and all dug in while listening to live music and catching up! I would definitely recommend this spot for a casual night after hanging at the beach all day! This was also a great spot for families and for the kiddos to run around.
The next day we all slept in a bit and woke up for a full day at the beach! When we woke up Live Well 30A already had beach chairs, umbrellas, and paddle boards set up up for us on the beach for the day! They also arranged a chef (Chef Holbrook from Signature Catering) to come cook us brunch that morning before a beach day! Brunch was SO yummy and Chef Holbrook literally took care of everything– even cleanup!
From there, to the beach we all went! We spent the day lounging, having girl talk, and enjoying the beautiful day! When the sun started to set we went up to get ready for dinner and the Live Well 30A team came and packed up all of our chairs, umbrellas, and paddle boards.
For dinner we went over to Seaside to have tapas and wine at 45Central. They had wine pairings for all of our tapas which was freaking amazing (it was a 10 course pairing, soooo that makes for a good night). Thanks so much to 45Central for hosting our crazy crew!
Saturday morning we woke up with Donuts on the brain, so Live Well 30A arranged to come pick us up and take us to the most amazing donut truck on Aly’s beach called Charlie’s donuts. The blueberry cake donut was literally life (insert praise hands)! After some donuts, coffee, and a stroll around Alys beach (which was probably my favorite little down on 30A), we came back to get ready for lunch on the patio at Chiringo in Grayton beach. Chiringo was the cutest casual lunch spot with yummy burgers, fresh squeezed juices (like, SO good) and an assortment of food– I think I ate enough mac and cheese for like 4 of the girls there! Ha!
From lunch we went back, nursed our food comas, laid out on the beach and hung out while the Live Well 30 A team came to our beach house to set up a beach bonfire and shrimp boil! This was the night I was most excited about! I’ve been to my fair share of bonfires, but never a bonfire on the beach! They bring everything– even stuff to make s’mores! After dinner we had a little night cap at a local bar!
Sadly, Sunday morning was our last outing before our #30ABloggerVacay weekend came to a close. For a farewell brunch we went to Sunset Bay Cafe. I got the chicken and waffles AND Jessica and I shared their lemon-berry pancakes (#bikinibod). Y’all. They were divine — I think we were ALL in a food coma post brunch. As the day came to an end all we said our goodbyes. Our weekend at 30A couldn’t have been been better, down to every detail we didn’t have to lift a finger thanks to the Live Well 30A team. If you are planning a trip they will be sure to take care of all of your needs. And a special thanks to our host (and local) Jessica of Lipstick Heels and a Baby for coordinating the whole weekend (while 8 months pregnant and freaking FABULOUS might I add)!
