Happy Thursday babes! Things have been a little quiet over here on GAT the past week or so because I have been in #Vacay mode in Palm Springs celebrating my sweet friend Amanda, of The Miller Affect and her final days as a single lady! I seriously had the time of my life and I can’t WAIT to share ALL the deets from that trip with you all! Lots of booze, obnoxious pool floats, and stupid attractive men are involved, fair warning!
Today, I want to start this post by sharing with you all that first and foremost, I want everything I share here on Gal About Town to attainable looks that you can re create on a REAL LIFE BUDGET. I’m not flaunting Chanel bags and Louboutins’ on the reg over here. I am a single gal who works for myself (which trust me, isn’t as glamorous as it looks at times), and I have to be smart about my finances and stick to a budget. While I do have nicer “staple” and “timeless” items that I have saved and worked my ass off for… the majority of pieces I have in my closet are very budget friendly.
After doing a little research on my readers, AKA you guys (love y’all, mean it.), I have found that most of you like affordable pieces that are transitional and can be worn many different ways. Which, if you have been following my blog you will see that I often wear many of the same pieces over and over again (i.e. this jacket seen here, here, and here.) AND just about everything I share with you guys is under $100!
When I was in Palm Springs I found myself time and time again between shooting, the pool, and going to dinner reaching for this black swing dress. I picked it up at Nordstrom before I left for my trip thinking I might just wear it on the plane or to throw on after the pool…. but oh my gosh. I think I wore it at least twice everyday! I feel like simple little dresses like these are always a must because they are just so easy to “throw on and go”! I am sure this comes as no surprise but Nordstrom is always my go-to for pieces like this! It’s borderline embarrassing how much I use their curbside service… I order everything online and pull up and they bring it right out to me. I don’t even have to get out of my car!!
Anyways, I got to browsing on their website and I was blown away with all of the cute dresses they have right now! So I rounded up for you 50 of my favorite dresses under $50!! HECK YES! And y’all…. oh my gosh there are some good ones! Keep scrolling below to shop all of my picks!
