I have been in my home for almost 18 months now, and I STILL feel like there is always something to be done, or a room that’s just not quiteeee complete. Does this feeling ever end? Haha! I have heard it does not! But honestly that is part of the fun for me- I love rearranging and adding new pieces to my home along the way that makes it feel just a little more “me”’.
I recently put away all of my Christmas decor (yes, I know it’s February don’t judge) and feel like my house is a clean slate. Perfect time to get to work on a few spaces in my home that I have been wanting to give some love to. One of those spaces is my bathroom. This was a priority to me because I spend a lot of time in there getting ready, and, as a female and a blogger, I have A LOT of products. Which is a lot of fun, but I was lacking space to store them all and it had just become an unorganized mess. There was some extra unused space in my bathroom which I figured would be the perfect spot for some kind of cabinet that I could use for extra storage or all my lady thingss.
So last week I went to my local At Home (all my DFW friends, I go to the location off 635 and Midway) on the hunt for the perfect piece for my space. This also just so happened to be impeccable timing because At Home is currently having a major sale on furniture and rugs! Y’all know I frequent At Home quite a bit (okay a lot) and this is one of the best sales I have seen as far as rugs and furniture go.
Luckily, I was on a mission and pretty much knew exactly what I was looking for. A two door cabinet with shelves inside. Ultimately, I narrowed it down to two. I ended up going with this beautiful light wash wooden cabinet with decorative doors + mirrors. I loved that not only it was gorgeous and fit my aesthetic, it also would hide all of my products. My house and bathroom are small so one of the biggest tips I can give that I have learned from decorating my home are to find pieces that not only do you love, but that are also functional. Which I think this piece I went with for the bathroom is both 🙂
I also picked up some storage bins from At Home to house all of my products in my attempt to keep things as organized as possible. Be sure to head to your local At Home store to check out this great sale (and of course their already amazing prices). Would love to see your At Home finds!
**Thank you so much to At Home for sponsoring todays post! As always, all opinions are my own.**
