Blue Floral Dress

Hi lovelies! If you are anything like me, it’s hard to describe my personal style in just a few words. I mean, I definitely dress to coincide with my mood. Some days I dress because I am feeling glamorous, or classic, or casual. This blue floral dress spoke to me because it made me feel effortless, bohemian, and cool like the models from Free People. Ha!

While I certainly don’t look like one, I love that this flowy floral dress enabled me to feel that way. I just love easy pieces like this– and I am all about making getting dressed in the morning (orrr noon. Whenever you get up. no judgment here) as easy as possible. It’s seriously kind of sad how frustrated I get trying to put two pieces together sometimes (this happened last night and I literally had a moment where I hated everything in my closet #dramaqueen). This blue floral dress is one of those pieces you can just throw on with sandals, booties (which is how I styled it), or a killer pair of OTK boots like these. This dress also comes in 3 other colors as well, because a girl needs options!

As you have seen me post over the past two weeks, the #Nsale, or Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is currently going on. Which has me thinking of fall, and which pieces I can incorporate into my wardrobe. While it is still 100 degrees in Texas I just couldn’t justify buying coats and sweaters. However, I tried to buy all transitional pieces that I could not only wear in the fall, but now as well. Also, lets be real– its torture having brand new clothes sitting there that you can’t wear because it doesn’t dip below 90 degrees till November. I definitely love that this dress is light enough to wear now!

I hope you guys are all having a fab week! Now it’s about time to start cruising into the weekend, and I. can’t. wait. I have been traveling and going going going, non stop. So I also excited to spend this weekend at home with Ellie!
