Blue Hues

So this blue and white printed skirt immediately caught my eye the second I saw it. Not because it was love at first sight (although, I am obsessed), but because it reminds me of a ginger jar! The bright blue and white pattern is almost identical– so I am legit a walking, sarcastic talking, ginger jar. I am usually a little skeptical about form fitting skirts with prints, like this one. They can either be very flattering, or the complete opposite. But I think this particular pattern was perfect. Not too many colors going on, no giant patterns, and the mirrored affect draws your eyes to the middle, instead of the hip/thigh area.

I also paired this with my favorite Spring accessory, my denim jacket to make this outfit a little more casual. I think a good denim jacket is a staple piece for Spring. Believe it or not, I still have my Abercrombie denim jacket from middle school. Not only does it still fit (because back then my mom made me buy all of your clothes two sizes too big so I could wear them longer), but I actually wear it ALL the time!

I am so excited to head home this weekend for Easter! I haven’t been home since Christmas, so this trip has been long overdue. Lots of home cooked meals, family time, and relaxing. What are your Easter plans?
