Probably one of my favorite things that I look forward to every week is girls night. I think it is SO important to take some time to unwind with your girls. As a single gal, I am basically in a relationship with my girlfriends haha– so our time together is always extra special to me. Plus it’s way more fun to drink wine with your girlfriends vs. alone!
Often we all take turns hosting girls nights, and entertaining has become something I have found that I love! Obviously good company is the most important thing, but here are a few other must-haves for hosting your girlfriends for a girls night in.
- Snacks- there is nothing worse than a group of hangry females! Sometimes we cook a full meal, but usually we just have small snacks and appetizers. You can’t ever go wrong with a quick charcuterie board! They are easy to throw together, and fun to mix up each time with something different.
- Entertainment- Sometimes we all get together to watch one of our favorite shows like The Bachelor and sometimes we have game night which is my personal favorite (I am OBSESSED with games, I have a cabinet full of them). Either way, I always try to plan some kind of fun activity for us to do together! But realistically, most of the time we just end up chatting.
- Wine- Is it even a girls night without wine? Sounds like the lamest girls night in ever. Moscato was what initially got me hooked on wine in college and I still love it to this day! The moscato from Seven Daughters Wine is always stocked in my place! They even come in cans! Which come in handy when I just want one glass, or when I am going to a party, tailgate, or something where I don’t want to bring the whole bottle! But lets be honest, I usually bring enough of the Seven Daughters canned moscato that is equivalent to more than a bottle. haha!
Most importantly good company is what makes the best girls night! I am so fortunate to have a group of positive, kind, and Godly women in my life to cheer me on and spend my time with.
Cheers! I wish I could have you all over to drink wine with me!
