Slowly sharing my home with you guys has been so much fun! Somedays when I walk through it (when it’s clean and orderly- ha!) I can’t believe that I live there and feel like such an adult! Ha…It’s a surreal feeling going from mis matched furniture from college + roommates to walking through your home and truly feeling so proud of it. Today I want to share with you the room Ellie and I spend most of our time in, my living room! I partnered with one of my favorite furniture and home decor stores, Wayfair along with the help of my designer, Blythe (will share all the details on that + working with her in my next home post) to create my dream living space.

With this room I completely started from scratch and sold or gave away all of my furniture and decor from my old apartment. Not that I didn’t love all of my old stuff, because I really did… my old apartment was the ultimate glam bachelorette pad. However, with this space I really wanted something more mature and gender neutral (somewhat- ha), with pieces that I knew I would use over the next few years.

The first, and probably one of the biggest decisions I made was my couch. I knew I really wanted a sectional. If you would have told me 3 years ago that I would have a sectional in my home I would have laughed in your face. I have always associated sectionals with frat houses and lay-z-boys, BUT over the past few years I have been seeing more and more chic sectionals, and lets be honest they are comfortable af and so functional. Sooooo with that being said, I was on the hunt for a sectional. Wayfair had thousands to choose from. Ultimately, I ended up going with this coffee sectional by Greyleigh. I loved it because it had the look of a Restoration Hardware without the price tag! I ordered fabric swatches to be sure I knew exactly what I was getting (I went with the color Oakley Ivory) because ordering a couch online is a big deal! And that was such a HUGE help! Doing that, along with all the amazing reviews this couch had, I knew this was the one for me. I am so happy I went with this because I love it!

The next big decision was for my coffee table.  I have gone through so many dang coffee tables with wobbly legs, and also the last two coffee tables I had were mirrored and I have told myself never again! Ha! So when I was searching for living room inspo on Pinterest I kept pinning photos of this room by a fellow style blogger @drivenbydecor and I just could not get over this acrylic and glass coffee table. Again, if you would have told me I would have a very large acrylic coffee table in my house I would say “ew, no- that would look cheap” haha. This coffee table could not be more opposite. It is the most sleek, sturdy, well made coffee table I have ever seen! Everyone who comes in compliments it and how much it opens up the room. Wayfair actually had a ton of acrylic options but I loved this one because of the size and style.

For my rug I went with a classic jute rug. I couldn’t believe the price on this one from Wayfair and it had TONS (I am talking almost 9,000) of reviews. I love the texture it adds and trust me, its not as itchy as it looks.

I will be honest I am kind of sad the home decorating process has pretty much come to an end. It was SO much fun and the options were endless with Wayfair. Shop all of the details below and stay tuned for my next home post sharing more of the decorating process and how my designer, Blythe helped me tie everything together!

**Thank you so much to Wayfair for partnering with me on my dream living room. As always, all opinions are my own.**

The green printed pillows, are those from Norwalk? I have a client who wants a pillow like that but doesn’t want to go the route of custom ordering?

    Thanks!
