Hola friends! If you follow me along on Instagram I am sure you have seen that I was in Mexico pretty much the entire month of June! With it being such a quick flight away it has become one of my most frequent (and favorite) destinations. The beautiful beaches, the food, the people, there are so many reasons why I have fallen in love with Mexico.
Earlier this month my mom and I took a mother-daughter trip to Cabo to celebrate her retirement- YAY! We were looking for a relaxing resort that was beachfront with plenty of food options. I pretty much instantly knew that I wanted to stay at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica. I had previously stayed there last year (you can see details from that trip here) and had the most incredible stay- I knew I would have to return, and what better way to celebrate my sweet momma!
Pueblo Bonito Pacifica
Pueblo Bonito actually has eight resorts in Cabo to choose from, and we spent our entire stay at Pacifica. I have visited a few of the others, but Pacifica is my favorite because it sits right on the beach! The beaches are private so only guests of the property are there + to even enter the property there is pretty strict security, which is nice to have that peace of mind 🙂
We stayed at the Towers at Pacifica which offers a bit of a luxury upgrade you could say. Complete with a butler on call 24 hrs (Aldo was the BEST), beautiful balconies with beach views, plus access to a rooftop VIP area with all the snacks, coffee, and wine you could ask for all overlooking the beautiful ocean. I would usually go here in the mornings to work before breakfast!
I said this on my last blog post about visiting Pacifica, and I am standing by my word again; this is the best food I have ever had at an all inclusive resort. I have stayed at quite a few over the years, and y’all it really is amazing. They have quite a few food options on the property (plus additional restaurants at their other property next door, Sunset beach which is a quick shuttle ride away) from casual, to fine dining. Even all the food at the pool and cabanas was great- I might or might not have had chips + guacamole everyday!
Another spot on property that we had to revisit was Quivira Golf Club, which is just a quick shuttle ride away! It sits on the beautiful golf course and has a breezy open concept with ocean views. Plus they also have fire pits so you can lounge for drinks and listen to the ocean. And of course the food was just as wonderful as the atmosphere.
All in all this trip was all about relaxation and quality mother-daughter time so most of our days were spent lounging by the pool or in a beach cabana. Literal beach bums. Our butler Aldo had us a cabana reserved and ready every morning- the cabanas were definitely my favorite because I liked to split my time between catching some sun and laying in the shade… even napping! We also had massages at the spa one morning and oh my gosh, they were incredible. The vibe of the entire resort is very relaxing (lots of couples and honeymooners) and tranquil so if you are looking to party or for a more wild experience this mighttt not be for you.
For me, the service can totally make or break my stay somewhere. The service here is absolutely amazing- every time you walked by any staff member they always greeted you and had a smile on their face. Unfortunately during this trip my bags were lost by the airline for pretty much the entire duration of our stay (beyond frustrating to say the least. The staff and management here at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica were SO incredibly helpful and understanding of the situation- from calling daily to check on the status of my bag, to getting us transportation to and from town so I could have clothes and toiletries. Being a blogger you can imagine how much it puts a damper on things if your luggage is lost during travel (literally it kept me from doing my job), and I just cant say enough about how accommodating everyone was there.
All in all, my second stay at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica did not disappoint. If you are considering Cabo, I would recommend this resort again and again. Already planning my third visit 🙂
**Thank you to Pueblo Bonito for hosting us at Pacifica, it was truly such an amazing experience. As always, all opinions in this post are my own.**
