The past few years of my twenties have been some of the busiest (but the best) years to date. Along with this season of life has come SO much to celebrate– engagements, babies, personal and professional events, marriages. I’ve been a bridesmaid a fair number of times (not quite 27 dresses status butttt getting there) and I am certain a few more ahead. There is one wedding/event trend that I want to share with you guys today that I am ALL ABOUT for any of you that are a little less traditional. Enter… the jumpsuit. Yep, you heard me. A dressy, tailored, flattering jumpsuit is a great alternative to a traditional dress. I find myself being drawn to dressy jumpsuits now almost more than dresses when searching for events. They are comfortable, flattering, make your legs look super long. Now for all of you brides… have you ever though of a jumpsuit or two piece set for your bridesmaids? Take a less traditional approach to the basic chiffon dress. Your bridesmaids will thank you because not only can they dance all night, BUT they can for once repurpose and wear it again. I can’t tell you how many bridesmaid dresses I have in my closet that I know I will never be able to wear again. So definitely something to think about for you brides.
This beautiful burgundy jumpsuit I have on is from Watters which is bridal designer based right here in my hometown of Dallas! But if you don’t live in Dallas, don’t worry you can find their designs (from bridal gowns, bridal party, and formal pieces) in boutiques around the US (check out one near you here). I am wearing the Vee jumpsuit which comes in 5 colors– even white which would be the most beautiful rehearsal dinner or bridal shower option for all of you brides as well! Another option I LOVE is the Jair pant and Zoe tank set which is a two piece sequin set (again in multiple color options) which I think looks so elegantly glam! You know I love me some sequins! Whether if be for you brides looking for yourself or your bridesmaids or if you are looking for the perfect piece for an event Watters has some of the most gorgeous designs! I actually have a fun formal casino night coming up soon and I am DYING over this sequin jumpsuit! What do you guys think?
**Thank you so much to Watters for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own. **
