Suede and Red

Suede Jacket- Gal About Town

Hi gals! Or at least I assume the majority of my readers are women (just incase let me thrown in a “hey guys” as well so the men don’t feel left out).

So they say in Texas there are two seasons: summer, and winter.

We don’t really get a fall season, it basically goes from 100 degrees and melting your face off, to ice storms and 20 degrees in a matter of like 2 weeks.

Let me tell you, as a dare I say it, “basic” female, this is really hard. We see pumpkin spice everything left and right (I bought my dog pumpkin spice dog treats this week. Not even kidding.), blanket scarves, cozy sweaters, and over the knee boots popping up in stores in like July.

The moment September hits and the majority of the country is starting to shift to fall weather, we are still sweating in places we shouldn’t be sweating. The second the temperature falls below 90 us women break out the boots and blanket scarves, and take pictures holding our PSL’s. Do we look ridiculous? Absolutely….

Then after one week of winter, we all complain how cold it is and that we are ready for summer again. It’s a cycle.

So during this time I have been wearing light layers. Enter, this suede jacket. I paired it with denim shorts to keep it cool and casual. Then when it hits 92 degrees at 2pm I can ditch the jacket. This jacket has definitely been one of my favorite purchases as of lately, it is so transitional. I can’t wait to share with you guys other ways I have styled it.
