Hi friends! If you have been following me along on Instagram I am sure you know that I have had quite a few trips here over the summer with my most recent visit being Cabo San Lucas in Mexico! I traveled there with my blogging (and real life) bestie/work wife Amanda of The Miller Affect for a girls getaway at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica in Cabo. I have traveled to Mexico multiple times over the years (it’s only a 2 hour flight from Texas), and stayed at many resorts. However, I have to say Pueblo Bonito has truly been one of my favorites. Keep reading to see why…
The Gorgeous Property
Never have I stayed at a more peaceful resort… the resort was mostly couples I noticed– adults only. Unobstructed views of the beach everywhere you looked, with no other properties beside you so I truly felt like we had the beach to ourselves. Most of our beach time was spent in their cabanas– complete with a server and a button you could press when you needed service– now we’re talkin! The hotel itself was full of modern architecture, decor, and unique landscape– there were beautiful cacti everywhere! You could truly tell the detail that went into this property, and the relaxing, tranquil vibes it had.
Amanda and I each had our own room in the Towers (complete with our own Butler, whatttt?!– more about that later!) with a gorgeous balcony and pool/ocean view! I am an early riser and there was nothing I loved more than the sunlight streaming in my room in the morning and waking up to that gorgeous view of the property. Our rooms were pretty average in size (the do have suites as well), however, were still very clean and perfectly suited our needs!
Food + Drinks
I cannot say enough about the food + drinks at Pueblo Bonito. BY FAR the best food I have ever had staying at an all-inclusive resort. This is not your typical buffet– but every restaurant is a sit down experience. The service everywhere we went was amazing. My favorite was the steak house at Quivira which sits on the golf course right next to the ocean. We were able to sit on the patio with unobstructed views of the beach listening to the waves crash… it was such an experience. Very romantic for Amanda and I too– haha!
Amenities + Extras
From the moment we arrived, until we left I felt like we were treated like royalty. We even had our own personal butler, Abel (hiiiii Abel!) who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He took care of everything from dinner and cabana reservations, shuttle service, even getting us sunscreen and other small tasks. We also had the opportunity to visit the spa one afternoon, which was HEAVENLY. Amanda and I both got massages and I honestly could have spent the whole day just hanging out at the spa, relaxing.
All in all, this was the most amazing getaway and Pueblo Bonito set the bar high for my all inclusive experiences from here on out. We might or might not be already planning our next visit. Till next time, Cabo!
