Happy Thursday guys! Currently writing this post from 30,000 feet up in the air en route to Wine Country! These ladies are no strangers here on the blog, and we love any excuse to get together. So of course we had to bring you guys a little something from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!
While teaming up with these babes is nothing new, workwear looks are a first for me and the blog! I know most of you that follow along and read my blog work in an office setting and are looking for more work-appropriate looks in addition to everyday style. With sequins, neon, and leopard print being neutrals for me, I will admit… I have been intimidated incorporating workwear into my content. I haven’t worked in an office or corporate environment in over 5 years so my idea of work-appropriate might not be up to speed! HA! One of my favorite things about teaming up with these ladies is because we all have different taste and styles! It just so happens that ALL of our Nordstrom workwear looks are included in the Anniversary sale too! Don’t forget the sale goes live to the public on Friday so the perfect time to stock up on work wear essentials.
You guys know I had to throw in some kind of color, print, or texture! I am such a fan of midi skirts (like the one from this post I was raving about last week). All of these items I would wear outside of the office as well! This top actually comes in 5 colors, and I love the ruffle detail.
Lauren- A Lo Profile
Does Lauren’s top look familiar? Probably because its the SAME one I am wearing above! I love this blue color– and again shows how you could style this for a more casual look. Lauren’s work wear with black skinny jeans and pumps is a great option for those who have a more relaxed dress code.
Christina- Fashion and Frills
Christina is my print-loving soul sister. I knew I could count on her to bring some color to the mix! She is also the queen of print mixing– take some inspiration from her on ways to add a little fun to your work wardrobe while still being office-appropriate.
Brooke- One Small Blonde
I love Brooke’s look because not only is this an outfit that you could wear to the office– but to HH or a night out/event as well! I also LOVE this color.
Amanda- The Miller Affect
I didn’t know supermodels worked in an office? Haha– but really, Amanda could be on the runway for this office look. I love the scallop detail on this classic black dress. Something I do want to point out is that Amanda is 5″11 (told ya she’s a model) SO this dress would be quite a bit longer on most of us!
Natalie- The Fashion Hour
The cutest pregnant momma-to-be Natalie balances blogging and a full time job, and soon a new baby girl! This floral dress was a favorite of mine from the sale and I love that this can be office appropriate as well as something you would wear on the weekend with sandals!
